Drumreilly church still holds the cross base and ogee window fragments from a fifteenth-century building, proving that older faith lived beneath the newer stones. The mullion curves like a frozen wave, while the cross base waits for a shaft that time removed. Together they refuse to vanish, forcing every visitor to imagine the lost church and the people who prayed inside it.
