Modern ploughs and trenches have cut through the ancient bank, yet the thirty-four metre circle still holds its shape in Cornaglare or Palmira. The earth has been robbed for field boundaries, but the fort refuses to disappear entirely. It is a living boundary now, swallowing human history into fairy legend while demanding that people still recognize its presence.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 34m) enclosed by a substantial, although partly denuded, earthen bank which has been modified and incorporated into the field boundary. Modern trenches occur at the external foot of the bank. Original entrance not recognisable.
