Kent Bridge spans the River Blackwater in County Cork with seven limestone arches built between 1860 and 1870. John Anderson commissioned the work for Fermoy, replacing older crossings and a medieval ferry at the same place. Its heavy rock-faced blocks still carry the main Dublin to Cork road, while a hidden 1718 keystone in the approach wall remembers the bridge buried beneath it.
