Athnowen

Athnowen is the old Anglican name for Ovens, a Cork parish where limestone caves still breathe beneath the soil. People died, buried bones, and forgot the shape of the caves, but the stones kept the memory. The dead did not leave empty; they taught the town to remember that even forgotten things can hold life.
