Sing Sing Prison is a buried chamber where the Irish Volunteers kept captured British soldiers and collaborators during the war of independence. Men may have sat in darkness, hearing only dripping water and their own breath, while freedom remained a distant idea. The chamber still belongs to County Cork, waiting for someone to remember the weight of that patience.
