Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Cootehall, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a low rise with a subcircular grass-covered area measuring 35.5 metres north-south and 32 metres east-west. An overgrown earthen bank surrounds the centre, while an outer fosse cuts through the ground from south-southwest to southeast. Two other raths stand nearby, one 170 metres north and the other 60 metres southwest.

On top of a low rise. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 35.5m N-S; 32m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3-5.2m; int. H 0.3-0.75m; ext. H 0.3m at SE to 1.5m at W), with an outer fosse (Wth 3.5m to 5.5m at NW; D 0.2-0.8m) SSW-N-SE. There is no visible entrance but the bank is incorporated in a field bank N-E, and a NE-SW field bank has removed the fosse at S.
