On a shelf on the S-facing slope of a rise. D-shaped or subrectangular grass-covered area (dims 38 NNW-SSE; 27m WSW-ENE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3-4.6m; int. H 0.25m generally to 0.75m at SSE; ext. H 0.3m at NNW to 1.1m at SSE) WNW-N-S and a scarp (H 0.6m) elsewhere, with an outer fosse (Wth of top 5-5.5m; D 0.2- 0.6m) WNW-NNE. There is an entrance (Wth 5-5.5m) at E. Rath (RO007-020----) is c. 60m to the NE.
