What is recorded here

One of two possible cross bases (KD032-044011- and KD032-044012-) recorded by Fitzgerald (1899-1902(f), 161 (J)) in ‘Killeen Cormac’ burial ground (KD032-044----). A rectangular granite block, the W and N faces of which taper inwards to give a square top (H 0.73m; base L 0.44m N-S; Wth 0.34m; top L 0.2m; Wth 0.2m) which contains a square mortice hole (L 0.2m; Wth 0.2m; D 0.10m), the E side of which is broken away.
