Former Clonmore Stone Ringfort — Report the wrong picture

Clonmore Stone Ringfort is a vanished cashel in County Donegal, Ireland. Its stones are gone, leaving only a low mound and one stray slab in rocky ground. The fort may have stood for centuries before people removed its walls, but the mound still marks the place where a circular home or fortress once faced the open sky.

Diam. c. 25m. The circular enclosure shown on the 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map, no longer survives. Now only an uneven mound c. 1.5m high indicates the site. It is probable that this was the location of a cashel. A large slab occurs near the NE perimeter. Situated in rocky land with good views.
