Former Doocashel Glebe Fairy Fort — Report the wrong picture

Doocashel Glebe Fairy Fort vanished before human memory, leaving only a forest clearing above Ards Strand where a ringed enclosure once stood. The land keeps its shape in absence, suggesting the fort refused ordinary visibility rather than disappearing entirely. What was built there may have been made for witnesses who could see more than most, which is why nothing remains for everyone else.

The 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map shows a single-ringed circular enclosure. There is no trace of it now. The position is a forest clearing overlooking Ards Strand to the S.
