What is recorded here

Indicated is a forgotten fairy fort in County Cavan where a low earthen bank still circles a twenty-five-metre green chamber. It appeared as a fort on early maps, faded into a site of mystery, and reappeared inside a triangular tree plantation. The entrance has vanished beneath vegetation, but the ring remains visible from west, north and east. People may have lived there, feared there or simply missed the way in.

Depicted as a triangular tree plantation on the OS latest edition Within the tree plantation is a raised circular area (int. diam. c. 25m) enclosed by a low earthen bank identifiable from W-N-E, and a fosse. Original entrance not recognisable. Densely overgrown with vegetation.
