Christs Well in County Offaly has vanished beneath dense overgrowth, leaving only a large boulder marked Christs Stone on old maps to hint at the water below. The jungle reclaims the prayer site, forcing people to imagine rather than see the basin where devotion once flowed. What the greenery hides may still be intact, waiting beneath leaves and moss for someone patient enough to listen for dripping in the dark.

The well is virtually unrecognisable and is covered with overgrowth. Impossible to examine due to dense overgrowth. Linked to Christ himself, the well and adjacent "Christs Stone" may have been a site of early Christian pilgrimage or devotion. Local tradition suggests the stone may have been used for ritual purposes, though specific cures or practices are not recorded.
