Lynally Glebe hides a possible stone castle atop a motte in County Offaly, marked only by faint wall footings. The site resists easy classification, preserving the ambiguity of a structure that may have stood, fallen or never been fully built. Its uncertainty is not a flaw but a feature, inviting imagination to complete what measurement cannot capture.

Remains of wall footings on top of motte (OF016-032001-) may be the remains of a stone castle at Lynally.
