Architectural fragment in Cashel

Incorporated as a quoin stone in the SW boundary wall of Burke's Lane which itself runs NW-SE at a right angle to the S side of Main Street, Cashel. Inserted on its side, third quoin from the base of the wall. Limestone jamb (dims. 0.28m x 0.37m) with a hollow chamfer, originally vertical, terminating in a broach stop. Also in this wall there is a late 13th/early 14th-century limestone head (TS061-025083-) and another architectural fragment (TS061-025159-).
