Indicated is a barrow, mound barrow in Cartroncaran, County Roscommon, Ireland. The circular earthen mound stands at the highest point of a broad plateau, reaching 3.1m in height and supporting a trigonometric station on its flat top. A large enclosure and a rath are positioned about 50m to the north of this grass-covered structure.
At the highest point of a broad plateau. Circular flat-topped and grass-covered but poached earthen mound (diam. of base 15m N-S; 15.5m E-W; dims of top 4.8m N-S; 3.9m E-W; H 2m at W to 3.1m at S) with a trigonometric station on top.
