What is recorded here

Cahernambrock is a circular earth and stone fort on a north-facing slope above the Finnow River valley in County Cork. Its bank stands sixty centimetres high inside and thirty-five centimetres outside, while a sharper scarp reaches one metre and ten centimetres elsewhere. The interior rises on the north side to balance the falling ground, and faint cultivation ridges still cross it from north to south.

In pasture, on N-facing slope overlooking Finnow River valley. Circular area (26m N-S; 24.6m E-W) defined by earth and stone bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.35m) NE->WSW; scarp (H 1.1m) elsewhere. Interior raised on N side to compensate for hillslope; crossed by remains of cultivation ridges on N-S axis.
