Six-span road bridge, built c.1820, spanning River Finnow. Rubble stone walls with concrete capping to parapets. Segmental-arches having roughly dressed stone voussoirs, with dressed voussoirs to two easternmost arches. Rubble stone piers with V-cutwaters to south-east and north-west elevations.

The simple form of this road bridge is enhanced by the textural variation created by the rubble stone walls and dressed voussoirs. It is a reminder of the achievements of early nineteenth century engineering, incorporating six-spans and using locally available materials, and is a fine testament to the skill of those involved in its construction.
