Enclosure in Brickendown is an enclosure in Brickendown, County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies an oval area measuring 44 metres from northeast to southwest and 28 metres from northwest to southeast. A 1.3-metre-wide, 0.9-metre-high scarp defines the boundary, while a shallow ditch runs from north-northwest to northeast. The interior slopes down gradually toward the east-southeast rather than forming a true bank.
In rough, level pasture, conjoined to enclosure (TS061-035003-) to W via shared fosse. Oval area (dims 44m NE-SW; 28m NW-SE) defined by scarp (Wth 1.3m; H 0.9m) which is modified by horse jumps WNW-NNE. Appearance of a bank ESE-SSW but on closer inspection the interior just slopes down gradually and uniformly around this arc. Fosse is shallow NNW-NE and is best preserved (overall Wth 6.7m; basal Wth 2.7m; D 0.22m) NE-WSW; is truncated by corner of graveyard (TS061-035004-) and is backfilled by adjacent causeway built to approach horse jump at NW. Outer bank (overall Wth 6.05m; Wth at top 2m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.18m) SE-SSE. Interior is stepped with a marked break of slope across centre of interior (long axis NW-SE). Rectangular building footings (TS061-035005-) abuts scarp at W and a possible enclosure and annexe abut scarp at N. Enclosure (TS061-035006-) adjoins exterior to S.
