What is recorded here

Indicated is a possible early church site in County Kildare, Ireland, marked by a circular bank and shallow fosse around a central stone building. The enclosure sits on slightly marshy pasture, where water may have gathered in the hollow and mist may have climbed the grass at dawn. A small worship place could have stood there before records, using the marsh as a boundary and the stones as a anchor for prayer.
Large circular area (diam. c. 75m) surrounded by a low bank and shallow fosse. Possible remains of a small stone building at the centre. Situated on slightly marshy pasture land. Possibly an early church site. Date of upload: 15 September 2016

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
