Ballymacrown holds a rectangular stone, one metre forty-seven tall, set on a ridge where gorse and heather still break the wind. It points northeast to southwest, matching the land itself, as if someone had answered the ridge instead of imposing a line upon it. Maybe it marked a boundary, a meeting place or a warning about hidden ground. Whatever it said, it has kept saying it through every storm since the pasture first closed around it.

In rough pasture, on the crest of a NE-SW ridge partially covered by gorse and heather. This standing stone (1.45m x 0.15m; H 1.47m) is rectangular in plan and is orientated NE-SW.
