What is recorded here

Ring-ditch in Ballymacpierce is a faded circular mark, fifteen metres across, lying beside two ringforts within an old field system. It may have been a small dwelling, a boundary marker or a forgotten ritual site, but the soil has taken back most of its shape. The land still holds the ghost of a choice made long before written memory, inviting imagination rather than certainty.
