Standing stone in Ballymacan

At the southwest tip of a two-hundred-metre ridge in Ballymacan, a small round stone leans eastward like a person listening for an answer. It stands one metre tall with a sixty-centimetre body, small enough to touch but old enough to outlast every hand that has touched it. The ridge may have marked a boundary, a meeting place or a warning, yet the stone still points east as if waiting for someone to return what was borrowed.
