Two low, curving banks adjoin the inner ringfort at Ballyling, marking possible hut sites on either east and west side. They suggest a small domestic quarter where people lived, cooked and argued beside the defensive earthwork. The collapsed shape preserves the scale of ordinary rooms rather than grand hallways.
