Fairy fort in Ballygibbon is a circular earthen enclosure, thirty-one metres across, with a two-metre-tall bank and a narrow westward entrance. It sits on a sloping pasture above the River Martin, its interior still clear enough for grazing. The shape suggests human making, yet local tradition calls it fairy work, reminding us that borders between history and imagination often blur on ancient land.

In pasture, on W-facing slope, overlooking River Martin. Circular area (diam. 31.2m) defined by earthen bank (H 1.8m). Entrance (Wth c. 2m) to WNW. Interior used for grazing; clear of overgrowth.
