Crockaunbaun is a small rectangular mound of earth and stones on the north-facing slope of the Rathcroghan ridge in County Roscommon, Ireland. It measures 2.5 metres north-south, 1.4 metres east-west and rises 0.4 metres. A large quarry sits immediately to the north, suggesting the mound is probably spoil from digging rather than an ancient monument. The place appears only on the 1927 edition of the OS 6-inch map, where it still carries the shape of human labour even if its origin is ordinary.

Marked only on the 1927 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a slight rise of the N-facing slope of the Rathcroghan ridge with a large quarry immediately to the N.
