Enclosure in Ballyard — Report the wrong picture

Infra-red aerial photography revealed a 33-metre enclosure on rising ground above the River Lee, visible only as a dark line where human eyes see empty grass. The absence of ground traces does not diminish the shape; it suggests the land withheld its memory until measured in light rather than touched by hands. Perhaps people lived there during seasons when water receded, then departed without leaving wounds behind.

'Infra-red aerial photography (National Coastline Survey) clearly shows a crop mark enclosure at this location on rising ground overlooking the River Lee to the north-north-east.
