Watchtower in Balally is a watchtower in County Dublin, Ireland. Perhaps it guarded Moreen's boundary against theft or intrusion, casting a long shadow over the surrounding land. Maybe its stones still hold the heat of a keeper's lantern, waiting for someone to remember the purpose behind its height.
Ball & Hamilton mention a watch tower in the walls bounding Moreen (1895, 8-9). Not precisely located.
