Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ashtown, Kealfoun, County Waterford, Ireland. It occupies a circular area 41 metres east-west and 40 metres north-south on a gentle south-facing slope. The surviving structure is a bipartite ring with an inner earthen bank, an outer fosse and a second external bank on the northeast to southwest arc. The southeast entrance cuts through both banks, and coniferous trees grow on the earthworks.
Situated in tillage on a gentle S-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 41m E-W; 40m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5.5-6m; int. H 1-1.2m; ext. H 1.4-1.7m), an outer fosse (Wth of top 6.3-6.5m; Wth of base 2m; ext. D 1-1.4m) and an external bank (Wth 4-6m; ext. H 0.6-1m) NE-SW. A slight scarp marks the line of the inner bank elsewhere. The entrance, through the inner (Wth 2.4m) and outer (Wth 1.3m) banks, and causeway, are at SSE. The banks are planted with coniferous trees, and the outer bank forms the townland boundary with Kealfoun E-SW. Enclosure (WA015-019----) is c. 150m to the WSW.
