What is recorded here

Situated on a gentle S-facing slope. Subcircular area (dims. 38m E-W; 28m N-S) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.5-5m; int. H 0.3-0.6m; ext. H 1m) with traces of internal stone-facing. The bank is separated by a berm (Wth 2m) from an outer field bank. There is an entrance (Wth 2.7m) at SSE. The site is planted with coniferous trees. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
