A socketed stone (0.38m x 0.28m) lies N of the Early Christian cross-inscribed slab (LA014-035004-) in W sector of graveyard (LA014-035002-), this socketed stone is probably an architectural fragment from the early medieval church (LA014-035001-) in the centre of the graveyard. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
