Quarry in Liskeevy

Quarry

What is recorded here

A hachured area marked on the 1932 edition of the OS 6-inch map proved on inspection in 1984 to be an oval overgrown grass-covered depression, most likely a disused quarry.

From the National Monuments Service (Archaeological Survey of Ireland) record GA016-098

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
