Irregular-shaped quarry (approx. dims. 60m x 25m) transected at S by a field boundary running E-W, intersected at E by public roadway, as depicted on the 1837 ed. OSi six-inch map. Outlined as a hollowed area on the last edition of the OSi six-inch map and on the 25-inch OSi map. Area of scrubland in area of filled in quarry visible on the 2013-18 MapGenie orthoimage.
