Terraced three-bay three-storey premises, c. 1860; post office to ground floor with residential accommodation to upper floors, having slate pitched roof and rendered chimney stacks, painted render finish, continuous string course to cill to second floor, quoin detail to first and second floors, render architraves to window openings, window openings to upper floors and ground floor boarded up; street frontage and enclosed area to rear; in poor condition.
Distinctive mid nineteenth-century Post Office building in neglected and vulnerable condition. Of local historical interest and having importance for the surrounding streetscape.
