Wall-mounted cast-iron letter box, c. 1930, with capital lettering.
This cast-iron post box is a notable and interesting addition to the streetscape. It is interesting to note the changes in the decorative detail of cast-iron post boxes from Victorian times to the latter part of the twentieth century.
