Wall-mounted cast-iron post box, installed c.1920. Panel moulding to door and edging of box. Raised lettering to letter slot canopy reading 'Post Office'.
A typical mid twentieth century post box which is a reminder of the high quality of materials and design which were used in the execution of these functional objects in the late nineteenth and first part of the twentieth century.
