What is recorded here

Cast-iron post box, c. 1905, with ER VII insignia set in squared rubble limestone wall.
This cast-iron post box is an important feature in the social and urban fabric of the town. Simple in design, the lettering and crown are well executed. Though many cast-iron post boxes are being replaced by modern boxes, this one remains in use.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
