What is recorded here

Detached four-bay two-storey house, built c.1870, with full height canted bay to front facade. Rendered walls. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and chimney pots. Rubble limestone outbuilding to rear. Site is bounded by squared rubble limestone wall with ashlar gate piers.
This house and its associated outbuilding occupy a prominent location at the intersection of two roads. The canted bay window provides architectural interest in the otherwise simple façade. The contrast of the rendered walls of the house with the stone walls and stone outbuildings add textural interest to site.
