A hurdle panel (exposed L 1.9m, Wth 1.3m) exposed on the field surface was orientated ENE-WSW. It was composed of rods (diam. 0.02-0.03m) and sails (diam. 0.04-0.05m). Some toolmarks were visible at the ends of the rods. The evidence suggested that this was most likely to be the remains of a platform.
