Skidoo in County Dublin, Ireland, holds a shallow pit and long linear feature where Bronze Age pottery and burnt bone still lie beside fragile worked timber. The eastern-western groove stretched eighteen metres, perhaps marking a structure that stood before it collapsed into earth. People may have gathered there to honour the dead or witness the sky, while timber and clay waited beneath footpaths for centuries.

During monitoring in 2002 a shallow pit containing Bronze Age pottery and a linear feature also containing pottery and burnt bone were uncovered. The linear feature aligned E-W, L18m, Wth 1.36m) contained fragile remains of worked timber that may have formed a structure (Dehaene, 2004, 187-188).
