Pier, built 1846[?]; extant 1865, with coursed or snecked rock faced limestone battered walls having lichen-covered rock faced cut-limestone coping. Now disused. Set extending into Westport Bay.
A pier erected with financial support from the Commissioners of Public Works (established 1831) representing an integral component of the nineteenth-century maritime civil engineering heritage of the outskirts of Westport.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
