Situated on a slight rise, in gently undulating pasture with stream c. 75m to NE. Ringfort (WM024-041----) lies c. 168m to NE. Monument described in 1971 as a much disturbed suboval-shaped area (diam. 36m) defined by the remains of a bank visible from SE-S-W-NNW where it is almost reduced to a scarp and it has been removed from NNW-N-E-SE. There is no definite trace of an external fosse. A gap (Wth at top 3.8m; basal Wth 1.7m) at SSE may represent an entrance. The surface of the interior is very uneven and there is an irregular-shaped disturbance depression inside the upper edge of the scarp at SSW. In the centre of the interior are the remains of a large house site (WM024-042001-). The site is encroached by other banks and scarps in the vicinity of the exterior.
