Situated on top of a slight natural rise, in gently undulating pasture with good views to W, N and E. Annotated ‘Fort’ on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map and depicted as a tree-lined circular-shaped bivallate earthwork. Monument described in 1971 as no surface remains visible. Not visible today on Digital Globe aerial photographs.
