Five-arch bridge, built c.1810, carrying road over Owenea River. Segmental arches with rubble voussoirs, three middle arches being larger, with rubble walls, parapets having painted faces to road, and with rendered coping to east elevation. Stepped smooth cement-rendered triangular cut-waters, having concrete blockwork supporting pipes across both elevations.

An elegantly composed bridge that represents a significant part of the transport heritage of Donegal. The wide segmental arches are a testament to the skilled craftsmen who built this bridge in the early nineteenth century. The elegant sweep of the arches creates a visually pleasing composition over the Owenea River.
