Not visible at ground level. However Rashinagh House has a large fireplace with wooden lintel over with large rectangular shaped chimney flue on northern gable which possibly belongs to the 17th century. Interior of house which is now in ruins was not accessible due to overgrowth and fallen masonry. The house is a single storey rectangular shaped house with modern fireplace and chimney at south gable with other modifications such as windows and door inserted. Rashinagh House appears to have been built on site of a MacCoghlan castle (Loeber 1988).
