Marked as an 'Old Wind Mill' on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on the crest of the N end of a high NW-SE ridge. Three storey circular tower (int. diam. 3.6m; H c. 6m) constructed of a rubble core wall (T 0.8m) with a robbed doorway (Wth 1.1m) at S. There are small rectangular windows facing E and W at the first floor, and one facing S at the second floor while a N-facing window at this floor has been destroyed.
