Ogham stone in Glanmore (corkaguiny By., Kilgobban Ed)

This ogham stone lies on the grass-grown ruins of the out-house for which it formerly acted as a door lintel (Macalister 1945, 174-5). Its original provenance is unknown. The stone measures 1.26m x .39m x .13m and one long angle bears a clearly legible ogham inscription as follows: GANICCA The final A notch is unlike the other vowel notches and does not extend across the edge of the stone.
