Beaufort House, near Killarney, still holds the rough Camp stone, moved there by Mr. Day after its mid-19th century discovery. A hole near the top hints it once stood as a gatepost, marking an entrance now lost to time. Its faded marks resist easy reading, preserving only fragments of a name or prayer spoken across generations.

This ogham stone was found near Camp about the middle of the 19th century. It was removed by Mr. Day to the grounds of Beaufort House, near Killarney (KE065-127----), where it remains today. It stands 1.25m high and is .48m wide x .2m thick. A perforation near the top of the stone suggests that it may at one time have functioned as a gatepost. The surface of the stone is very rough and the inscription, particularly the vowels, is not easy to read. Macalister (1945, 169, no. 177) interpreted it as: CCILARI AV(I) ....COI VAG...
