What is recorded here

Bridge in Curraduff dressed itself in little castle battlements for a railway career that lasted from 1891 to 1908. Seventeen years of trains, then a lifetime looking ready to repel the Normans. Someone was very badly advised about the uniform.
Double-arch rubble stone railway bridge over river, opened 1891, with red brick dressings to arches, limestone ashlar stringcourse over and semi-battlemented parapet walls. Round-headed arches of brick headers. Closed 1908 and now disused.
