The O'Connell Monument in Carhan Lower gives O'Connell the bronze bust and puts sculptor Alan Ryan Hall's signature on the work. Fair enough: O'Connell gets the pedestal, but Hall would like it understood that he didn't make himself.
Freestanding monument, dated 1996, on a square plan with cast-bronze bust on inscribed cut-limestone pedestal. Signed (1996) by Alan Ryan Hall (b. 1944) of Valencia Island.
