What is recorded here
On flat undulating pasture under Garryglass Roundabout. Three shallow oval and linear pits (dims. c. 1-2.5m, c. 0.05-0.1m deep) were excavated in ‘Field 12’ (Hayes 2001). The pits were filled with a combination of charcoal and burnt clay, no artefacts or dating material was retrieved from the fills and the function of the features is unknown.
